What is a Father? Everyday Dads Reflect

Father’s Day in America is a day set aside to appreciate dad for all they offer their families, and society as a whole. Father’s Day can also be a time to reflect on what fatherhood actually means in today’s culture.  Adam asked a random sampling of Americans what the word “father” means to them.

    Thank you!

  3. Adam: I was a single father five days a week for many years with two very young girls and was a freelance artist. This was in the early 70s when divorced fathers rarely got custody of their children. Being a father for me was the most important work I have ever done. Now that my children are grown and have children of their own, I am rewarded many times over. Thanks for the nice piece. You’re a real pro.
