Phillips&#039; interests are truly eclectic - there are almost no subject that do not engage him, and through his careful use of ambient sound and interviews, lure us in as well. Categories include Americana, religion and spirituality, New York life, arts, offbeat science, oral history, and lots and lots of &quot;other.&quot; Phillips has won nearly 20 awards for his work. He is also an adjunct professor at the New School&#039;s Graduate School of Media Studies, and teaches oral history workshops.</itunes:summary>
