As a broad category, the term “spirituality” tells us very little, although most of us know it when we see or experience it, and much of my life and career has been devoted to exploring its many beautiful and often distressing faces. Here is a sampling that includes explorations of the three Abrahamic faiths, Eastern and Indigenous religious traditions, faith, values, civic religion and fascism and various luminaries of the spiritual life.
